Intermediate Plant

Panoche Energy Center is a 400MW intermediate-style plant developed by DG Power that became operational in August 2009. The plant is located adjacent to PG&E’s Panoche Substation in western  Fresno County, California, two miles east of Interstate 5. In 2004 Energy Investors Funds acquired the project. The company was later awarded a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement by Pacific Gas & Electric Co. for 400MW of capacity, utilizing four General Electric LMS 100 units – the first LMS 100’s deployed in California.
